澳大利亞機車空調機組主要部件包括半封閉往復式壓縮機、蒸發(fā)器、冷凝器、干燥過濾器、軸流式冷凝風機、離心式通風機、電加熱器、高壓壓力開關、低壓壓力開關等部件組成的空調系統(tǒng)，空調機組系統(tǒng)結構緊湊，性能穩(wěn)定，能夠在有風、細塵、暴雨、雪天氣狀況、沙漠地區(qū)及其他存在污染物的環(huán)境中正常工作。機車空調機組采用SUS304不銹鋼板制成，機械強度高、耐磨性強、表面平整度小于1mm。制冷系統(tǒng)部件及配管采用銀纖焊連接，空調機組設計為頂置單元式，出風口設在機組的底部，新風口設在機組的兩側，回風口設在機組底部，新風口和回風口處均裝有過濾網(wǎng)，并且過濾網(wǎng)可重復清洗并易于拆裝，滿足當?shù)仫L沙環(huán)境的要求。
